Brown construction paper or a grocery bag
Scissors

Fold the brown construction paper in half. Place the bottom of the canoe pattern on the fold. Cut out the canoe through both thicknesses of paper. Use the tepee pattern to trace and cut out a tepee. Decorate the tepee and canoe with Indian signs. Curl the tepee into a cone shape with a small hole at the top. Glue the side to make it hold its shape. the hole lets out smoke from the Indian's cooking and heating fire. Cut a slit in the tepee (as shown on the pattern). fold it back to make a door.
